Provided by Honjo International Scholarship Foundation
Honjo International Scholarship offers one of the highest private stipends (¥200,000/month) for graduate students in Japan. It's open to any international student enrolled or about to enroll in a Japanese graduate school.
Foreign students enrolled (or to enrol) at a Japanese grad school. Direct application, no university pre-selection, all nationalities, all research fields.
For graduate students who need living expense support. The catch: it's stipend-only, so you'll need to cover tuition separately (combine with tuition exemption).
