Students at universities in Tochigi Prefecture. Under 29 as of 1 April 2027. 5 awards. Requires a university president's recommendation; documents are sent in bulk by the university (individual submissions not accepted). Essay and interview in Japanese. Can be held alongside other scholarships.
For foreign students at Tochigi Prefecture universities. The catch: strict regional limit—only students at universities in Tochigi Prefecture can apply. University must submit documents in bulk.
