The Ito Foundation offers ¥180,000/month for master's students in Japan for up to 2 years. It's open to all foreign nationals under 29 who are already residing in Japan. About 10 students are selected annually.
Foreign nationals (India eligible). Must reside in Japan with Student/PR visa. Under 29. Japanese interview required. Around 10 recipients per year; selection finalised by end of March.
For master's students under 29 already living in Japan. The catch: you must already be in Japan with a Student visa and able to interview in Japanese. Tuition is NOT covered.
