The Ito Foundation offers one of the highest monthly stipends (¥200,000) for master's students in Japan. It's open to all foreign nationals under 29 who are already residing in Japan. About 10 students are selected annually.
Foreign nationals (India eligible). Must reside in Japan with Student/PR visa. Under 29. Japanese interview required.
For master's students under 29 already living in Japan. The catch: you must already be in Japan with a Student visa and able to interview in Japanese.
