Kyoritsu International Foundation supports Asian students (including Indians) already studying in Japan with a monthly stipend of ¥110,000 (raised from FY2026). It's designed for self-funded students who need help with living expenses.
Privately financed Asian international students enrolled in Japan — India is named in the eligible-country list. Undergraduate, graduate and vocational students; ~25 awards. Apply only through a school on the foundation's designated list; no individual applications.
For Asian students already enrolled in Japan who are self-funding. The catch: you must already be in Japan—can't apply from abroad. Apply only through a designated school.
